Infest

I normally do not do this, but one of my friends (who has awesome music taste, although most of my friends do) suggested that I listen to this track: Ghost - Year Zero .

Ghost as you know (or Ghost B.C. in the states)
Is a band from the mysterious secret bases known only to a few peeps in Sweden, location/destination: Unknown. This record, is (As me and my friends see/hear) a very blended smooth mix of church friendly choirs that decided to befriend a more satanically awesome church instead, then throw in some great (and unexpected) twists of ABBA, Blue Oyster Cult and The Beatles!
The vocals are smooth and lucious, almost pillow-like in a mist of sweetspot guitars and feelgood tunes.

This album is very soft.

He said that it sounded alot like ABBA, and I gotta say, I was a bit suspicious, considering I am one of those who have had a hard time getting into Ghost (The only song so far I dig from their previous record is the song Genesis)

But, I was pleasantly surprised, and to my surprise I felt that I could clean to this music too.

So, pick up a copy of "Infestissumam" at your local record store today and in the future, you will not regret it!

Waiting for the chance..

..To clean the apartment. We have a new tenant in our apartment. Or should I say roommate. I've cleaned a bit (well, picked up some trash) and in that period of time I have listened to:

Perfect for those of you who like the singer/songwriter, acoustic, flamboyantly brilliant norwegian person that he is. He sings beautifully, plays the accordion (!) and also the guitar as well. He releases a new album tomorrow, titled "Set the House on Fire"

----

Now I have thought of how to organize in the living room whilst I have listened to Raw Hate.

Is an awesome D-beat metal band from the southern part of Sweden (Gävle).
Perfect tunes for those of you who like; Discharge (ofc), Doom, and a lot of other D-beat Käng bands.

---

And now while I will begin my cleaning process I shall listen to: Chad VangaalenMassmord and a bit more of Moddi.

Cheers Happy Cleaners!

Alrighty-o

Sorry, about not being here in awhile.
But since this blog is not per se not so popular in mainstream media and audiences, I fail to see why you would suffer in my absence.

Anyway,

So, this blog is for what we can do for dishwashing, cleaning, and such. Or more or less, what we can listen to during these moments when we engage in such things.

There is a record that I often slide into my stereo when engaging in cleaning activities;

Trummor & Orgel - Out of Bounds

[This record, is of swede masters, that master the drums and a hammond organ. I see it as a great thing to have this record on while cleaning and mostly dishes. There sound is very jazzy but also moments of swing]

Poochlatz  - Black Sheep Of Bleak September

[I have this on tape, this is israeli noise, which is pretty wierd but also kind of enjoyable while doing dishes. Lots of droning and you can sort of have it in the background without seemingly focus more on it than household chores, lots of synths and wierd stuff. Great!]

Judas Priest - Angel of Retribution

[This record is great for any fan of Judas, in my opinion, but I am not an ultrahardcore listener of them though.. But when I was living in the collegedorm with my gunslinging partner in crime - Pätter, I insisted on having this album on while we cleaned up and vacuumed the place, which was about 20 square meters]

Well!

Cheers!

Question: Do you dance while listening to music while you are cleaning?
